Snow Removal Services

The Town of Lanigan's Snow Removal Policy ensures efficient and prioritized snow clearing to maintain safe and accessible roads and sidewalks:

  • Stage I: Focuses on clearing emergency locations (Hospital, Fire Hall, Doctors, RCMP) and primary roads (Downing Drive, Main Street, Munster Street, Hoover Street) to ensure basic vehicular movement.

  • Stage II: Expands snow clearing across the town, including driveways and major pedestrian sidewalks (Downing Drive, Main Street, Clare Avenue, Baun Street).

  • Stage III: Includes clearing back alleys, removing snow from boulevards, and ensuring hydrants are accessible.

Sanding: Major intersections, especially those connecting with Highway #16, are prioritized for sanding to improve safety.
