REACT has advised that they will not be picking up garbage today due to highway and snow conditions. REACT is in the process of planning a re-schedule of garbage pick up and residents will be advised as soon as we are advised.

To expedite snow clearing on residential streets, please remove your roll out garbage carts from the streets as soon as possible, which will help us clear residential streets sooner.

Our top priorities for snow clearing is major arterials leading to all emergency services such as EMS, RCMP, Hospital and Lodge, then school access. Next in line are collector, then residential streets. This weather system appears to be persisting throughout the day today and into this evening with more snow accumulation and wind. Travel is not recommended and please be safe out there.
