Lanigan Yard Waste Pickup

The town of Lanigan Public Works crews will begin yard Waste pickup on May 8, 2024.

Yard waste pickup will be every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month until October 31 or the snow flies, whichever comes first.

All yard waste pickup will happen in the back alleys, please put out items in a clear visible location for the crews. We ask that all leaves and grass clippings are put into clear plastic bags or manageable containers with handles. Please note: items must be less than 50lbs or they will not be picked up.

We ask that all trees/branches are bundled and cut into lengths no greater than 4 feet. This assists us due to the width of our compact truck, and to make sure we can provide a quick reliable service for all.

We will not accept any garbage, pet refuse, sod, stumps, ashes, and treated wood, etc.
