Lanigan is very fortunate to have a progressive ambulance service that operates EMS services up to the Advanced Care Paramedic level. The service in the Town of Lanigan has a staff of 10 Paramedics, which includes an Advanced Care Paramedic Operations Manager, 3 Full-Time Primary Care Paramedics, and 6 Casual Primary Care Paramedics.

Lanigan & District Ambulance moved into a newly constructed Ambulance Base in December, 2016 which is connected to the Lanigan Fire Hall. The service has a contracted medic and clinic service at a new Potash Mine in construction east of Lanigan.  As well, a satellite ambulance service in the Town of LeRoy that has Primary and Intermediate Paramedics serving the R.M. of LeRoy. The fleet consists of 7 vehicles; 2 Ambulances and a Paramedic Rover Unit (Lanigan), 1 Ambulance (LeRoy), 1 Ambulance and 2 SUV service vehicles (Mine Site).
